Bio:
Wendy graduated from the University of Alberta and completed a dietetic internship at the University of Alberta Hospitals in 1991. She worked in rural Alberta for two years and then completed a Masters of Science at the University of British Columbia with a focus on food allergy research in 1996. For the next two years, she worked as a dietitian in Saudi Arabia. Wendy is now living in Red Deer, Alberta. She is a casual public health nutritionist with the David Thompson Health Region and provides consulting services in allergy and digestive health. Wendy’s passion is creating and delivering workshops for health care professionals. She also coordinates a Food Allergy Summer Camp in Alberta for the Allergy Asthma Information Association.
