Bio:
Heather Douglas completed her undergraduate and Masters Degree in Applied Nutrition from the University of Guelph. Her dietetic internship was completed through the University of Guelph's Master of Applied Nutrition program. Heather has a personal and professional interest in celiac disease and is an active member of the Canadian Celiac Association. Heather has had the opportunity to work with the Canadian Celiac Association in the past to update web content and educational resources. Heather has experience with celiac disease and diabetes education through clinical and community dietetic work settings. She has been a contributing author to the Dietitian’s of Canada Diabetes, Obesity and Cardiovascular Network and has also had the opportunity to teach Introductory Nutrition as a professor with George Brown College in Toronto.
