Born in Mexico City and raised in Cancun, Ivonne always had a strong interest in nutrition – particularly after as a patient, she personally experienced the work done by a Mexican Dietitian which was inspiration to pursue a career in this field. On January of 1997 she immigrated to Canada to complete high-school and begin post-secondary studies at the University of Alberta, graduating on June 2005 with a BSc in Nutritional Sciences. Ivonne is currently developing skills in clinical nutrition as a Pediatric In-/Out-patient Registered Dietitian at the Stollery Hospital and hoping to achieve a long-term career goal in the area of Eating Disorders.
