Nutrition-related implications of cancer treatment include diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, dysphagia, xerostomia, taste changes, thick saliva, oral mucositis and constipation (1). The side-effects of cancer treatments can adversely affect the nutritional status of the individuals undergoing treatment.
