Teens Who Eat Meals with Family 'Have Healthier Diets' is a recent Behind the Headlines posting from the National Health Services (NHS) in the U.K. Research was conducted at the University of Guelph in Canada; Amherst College, Harvard Medical School and Brown University in the U.S.; and Loughborough University in the U.K. The study results showed, "not only do families with lower levels of family functioning participate in frequent family meals, but that family dinners are associated with improved dietary intake, regardless of level of family functioning".
