It is PEN’s understanding that the recommendations in the DRI report on calcium and vitamin D will be considered by Health Canada to determine the impact the recommendations may have on dietary guidance for Canada. PEN resources have been updated to reflect the new DRIs and will be reviewed again when the recommendations from Health Canada are available.
