Bio:Wendy is currently the Coordinator of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice for the Saskatoon Health Region and is a Clinical Assistant and Adjunct Professor with the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan. Her graduate research focused on dietary fibre and her current research spans the dietary management of bowel disorders, fortification of the diets of the elderly and the development and testing of therapeutic functional foods. Wendy has received academic awards, holds numerous research grants and is a frequent speaker at workshops and conferences across Canada. Wendy is a past president of the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association and serves on the editorial board of the Canadian Journal of Dietetic Practice and Research.
