Bio:Dr. Lambert is a CIHR and Eyes High Postdoctoral Fellow. She is part of the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. She completed a BSc in Exercise and Health Physiology at the University of Calgary and a PhD in Nutrition and Metabolism at the University of Alberta, followed by a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). Her previous work primarily focused on lipid metabolism in a variety of disease states. Her postdoctoral training at UTSW included a clinical research project investigating sources of fat contributing to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Her work has focused on the role of novel fibre sources to modify appetite, glucose tolerance and the gut microbiota.
