This toolkit discusses the following key nutrition issues related to SLE:
- nutrition and lifestyle interventions for children and adolescents with childhood systemic lupus erythematosus (cSLE)
- calorie and carbohydrate interventions in overweight or obesity adults with SLE
- food intake issues (anorexia, oral ulceration, nausea and/or dry mouth) in individuals with SLE
- role of vitamin, mineral, omega-3, soy, herbal and non-vitamin/mineral supplements in the management SLE.
