Bio:
Phil is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian and is currently the president of the DAA Board of Directors. He completed a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from QUT in 1997. He has worked as a Clinical Dietitian in Murwillumbah, Alice Springs, Scotland and London; as a dietitian at Princess Alexandra Hospital Brisbane from 2003; as a Medical Team Leader and Renal Dietitian at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital since 2006, and spent 2012 in the role of Assistant Director of Nutrition and Dietetics. Phil manages Patient Food Services at RBWH. Phil has chaired the DAA Queensland Branch Executive, been Renal IG Convenor and sat on PEPDAC and MAC.
