Bio:
Sheena Erick graduated in 2005 from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutritional Sciences. After graduation, Sheena commenced internship with the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital Dietetic Internship program. Currently, Sheena is working in Saskatchewan as a clinical dietitian for the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region. In her position, Sheena's focus is hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and post-renal transplant patients. To Sheena, this position is very appealing as it provides her with the ability to see the direct effects of the diet on patient's health.

Contributions:

• Do older adults (65 years of age or older) with chronic disease (diabetes, chronic kidney disease, hypertension) in long-term care settings who follow a diet prescription have better outcomes than those who do not?
