Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is commonly described as a neurodevelopmental condition (1, 2). Generally, ADHD is a persistent pattern of inattention, hyperactivity, and/or impulsivity that interferes with functioning and development (1). Diagnosis is challenging/complicated (1). Based on DMS-5 testing symptoms should present sufficiently for a minimum of six months and some of these symptoms should have occurred before the age of twelve years (2).
