Bio:Dr Kirstine Bell is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Credentialled Diabetes Educator and has a PhD in nutrition and insulin dosing in type 1 diabetes. Following her PhD, Kirstie continued her research at Joslin Diabetes Centre at Harvard Medical School and at the University of Newcastle. She is now based at the University of Sydney as a Research Fellow, where she runs clinical trials in type 1 diabetes. Kirstie has been recognised as a JDRF Future Research Leader and her work has been incorporated into diabetes clinical guidelines all over the world.
