Table 1 is a summary of national legislation on gender identity human rights and dietetics practice competencies for Australia, Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. In most of these countries, gender identity rights are protected, and dietitian competencies require that dietitians practice in a culturally-appropriate manner including care that is appropriate to a person’s gender
