Bio:
Niamh O’Sullivan is an Irish dietitian who completed a BSc in Nutritional Sciences at University College Cork (2012) before moving to London to pursue an MSc in Dietetics at King’s College London (2014). Through her MSc thesis project Niamh worked in collaboration with the British Dietetic Association (BDA) Gastroenterology Specialist Group in the update of the BDA Irritable Bowel Syndrome Guidelines. She worked for a year in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Greenwich as a Band 5 Dietitian and, subsequently Gastroenterology Dietitian. Niamh has since moved to Taranaki, New Zealand and is a New Zealand Registered Dietitian, having completed validation exams. She is currently working as a Paediatric Dietitian with the Whanau Pakari Multi-Disciplinary Team Childhood Obesity Intervention Programme. This programme is part of an ongoing intervention trial targeted at New Zealand’s indigenous Maori population and those from deprived backgrounds.
