Goals for an individual who wishes to take steps to manage their condition should be determined in conjunction with the client and should be specific to the individual. Goals should be time-sensitive, easily measured and achievable by the nutrition intervention. Both short-term and long-term goals may be set. Examples of short- and long-term goals include to:
