The Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) develops evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for the National Health Service in Scotland. Guidelines are developed through systematic review of the scientific literature and provided to health professionals to reduce variations in practice and improve patient outcomes.
