  • Modified Diet
    • Energy-nutrient modification
      • Calorie modification (e.g. increased)
      • Protein level (e.g. moderate)
      • Vitamin intake (e.g. B vitamins, folic acid, vitamins C and D)
      • Mineral intake (e.g. without dialysis: restricted phosphorus, sodium (<100 mmol (2300 mg)/day; if hypertension 65-100 mmol/day (1500-2300 mg), fluid (in moderation), potassium (~50 mmol/day or 2000 mg/day), increased calcium diet and supplements)
