Practice Questions provide a synthesis of the literature and the practice guidance, typically in the form of a recommendation. Below are the most viewed Practice Questions of 2023. Which one did you enjoy the most?

4. What dietary and/or lifestyle strategies are recommended for preventing or managing symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)?

Looking for interested dietitian volunteers across the globe to review nutrition videos


Raising Our Healthy Kids is a series of free, short 1-2 minute videos providing information to parents and care providers on the healthy growth and development of children up to 12 years of age. 


There are a total of 70 videos, a number of which are focused on general nutrition, healthy growth and development, including positive body image and understanding how marketing affects choices and food intake. 


The Raising Our Healthy Kids Working Group is looking for interested dietitian volunteers to review the nutrition related videos for currency.

  • Review the video(s) for general parent/carer guidance. We are looking for any major content issues to make sure the content is accurate. We are not looking for small wording changes as these are very costly to update.
  • Relate back to jane.bellman@dietitians.ca the names of the videos you watched and any major issues you found.
  • Completed review by mid-January, 2024 would be most appreciated.
